Daniel WILD (1682-?)

and Mary TILLET (1689-?)

 

Daniel Wild and Mary Tillet married on 26 April 1713 in Kirdford, Sussex.

Daniell Wild was baptised on 12 December 1682 in Kirdford, Sussex.  He was the son of Daniel Wild (1651-?) and Mary Burrell (c1655-?).

Mary Tillat was baptised on 17 January 1688/9 in Billingshurst, Sussex, although at the time her father was of Pulborough.  She was the daughter of Laurence Tillet (1643-?) and Susan West (1651-?).  I am fairly certain that Tillet is a derivation of the surname Tullett.

 

Daniel Wild and Mary Tillet had 7 known children:

  1. Elizabeth Wild was baptised on 30 January 1713/4 in Kirdford.

  2. Daniel Wild was baptised on 27 August 1715 in Kirdford.  He may have married Mary Cobby in 1736, but I now think that it was the Daniel who was baptised in 1711 in West Dean who married Mary.  (They have their own page.)

  3. John Wild was baptised on 12 December 1717 in Kirdford and probably died young.

  4. Mary Wild was named in her father's will.  Mary married William Dennier on 27 April 1742 in Kirdford.

  5. John Wild was baptised on 6 February 1721/2 in Kirdford.

    John married Sarah Durrant on 20 November 1749 in Kirdford.

    John and Sarah couple had 2 known sons:

    1. John Wilde was baptised on 24 March 1754 in Kirdford.

    2. James Wilde was baptised on 3 June 1761 in Kirdford.

  6. Thomas Wild was baptised on 6 April 1726 in Kirdford.

  7. Richard Wild was baptised in January 1725/6 in Kirdford.

  8. Henry Wild was baptised on 15 August 1731 in Kirdford.
