The WEEKS Families of Sussex

So far, I do not have any known Week(e)s ancestors of my own, but a few convoluted links.

My Interest in the Week(e)s Family

My interest in the Weeks family begins with George Weeks (1834-?) who married Isabella Boorman (1839-1902) in 1857.  She was the daughter of Thomas Boorman (1810-1881) and Charlotte Bourne (1813-1893), who were my 3x Great Grandparents.  I descend from Isabella's brother, Frederick Edward Boorman (1846-1884).

George Weeks was born in 1834 Wadhurst and was the son of William Weeks (1804-?) and his first wife Ann Piper (1805-1841).  Another of William and Ann's children was Ellen Weeks (1840-1865) who married George Kemp in 1859, and they were the Great Grandparents of Tom Kemp.

William Weeks (1804-?) was the son of John Weeks (1776-?) and Philadelphia Akehurst.  John and Philly were also the parents of Samuel Weeks (1813-?) who married Barbara Wells (1817-1856) in 1834 and they were the ancestors of Sarah Jerrari.  George Weeks (1816-?) was another son and he married Matilda Weston in 1835 and they were the 2x Great Grandparents of Rona Benson.

John Weeks (1776-?) was the son of Thomas Weeks and Mary (c1736-1821) and so far that's where the trail ends.  Thomas and Mary were also the parents of Andrew Weeks (1780-?) who married Elizabeth Bones (1777-1856) in 1801 and they were the 4x Great Grandparents of Terry Duplock.

Other Weeks Families - mentioned within this site

Rachel Weeks married Edmund Smith in 1835 Burwash.  He was the grandson of my 5x Great Grandparents James Boorman (1740-1821) and Mary Jones (1742-1820).  Rachel was born in 1816 Dallington, Sussex and was the daughter of Thomas Weeks and Ann Bones who married 1806 in Ticehurst.  As yet I do not know if Thomas was in someway related to the above Weeks familes.  Nor do I know if Ann Bones was related to Elizabeth Bones, wife of Andrew Weeks (mentioned above).  Edmund's brother Reuben Smith, married Mary Weeks in 1841.  Mary was born about 1821 in Dallington, but I have yet to find out if she was a sister to Rachel.
