John WEBB (c1745-?)

and Mary WINTER (c1750-?)

John Webb and Mary Winter married in 1770 in Herriard, Hampshire.  (They were not my direct ancestors.)

John Webb's date and place of birth or baptism are unknown, to me.

Mary Winter's date and place of birth or baptism are unknown, to me.

(The following baptism dates have come from the IGI.)

John Webb and Mary Winter had 10 known children:

  1. William Webb was baptised on 27 December 1772 in Herriard.

  2. Elizabeth Webb was baptised on 20 or 30 April 1775 in Herriard.

  3. Ann Webb was baptised on 23 February 1777 in Herriard.

  4. Richard Webb was baptised on 30 August 1777 in Herriard.

  5. Joseph Webb was baptised on 9 January 1780 in Herriard.

  6. Sarah Webb was baptised on 21 September 1783 in Herriard.

  9. Richard Webb was baptised on 24 August 1788 in Herriard.

  10. Jane Webb was baptised on 31 January 1790 in Herriard.

Might John have been related to Elisha Webb who was born about 1760?  Elisha married Judith Ham in 1783 in Bramley, Hampshire.  They also had 10 children named:  Robert, Richard, William, Thomas, Sally, Joseph, Mary, Joshua, Laetitia and Joseph.  Bramley to Herriard is a distance of about 12 miles.  Elisha and Judith settled in Beenham, Berkshire.
