and Jane (?-?)

 

George Turner and Jane Longley, widow married in September 1661 in Fletching, Sussex.  Previously as Jane Tye, daughter of Robert Tye, might she have married John Longley on 30 March 1654 in Fletching?

George Turner may have been baptised on 28 January 1620/1 in Fletching and have been the son of Thomas Turner.

A Jane Tye was baptised on 15 May 1631 in Fletching, the daughter of John Tye, junior.

 

George Turner and Jane may have had the following children:

  1. Jane Turner was baptised on 26 November 1662 in Fletching.  She married Stephen Peirce in 1683.  (They have their own page.)

  2. Anne Turner was baptised on 12 May 1671 in Fletching.

  3. Elizabeth Turner was baptised on 12 May 1671 in Fletching.

 

 

Thomas Turner and Susan Turke married on 9 December 1604 in Uckfield.

Thomas Turner and Mary Banister married on 17 November 1617 in Fletching.

Thomas Turner and Susan Orgle married by licenece on 17 October 1620 at St. Michael's in Lewes, Sussex.  Their marriage licence was issued on the 7 October 1620 by the Archdeaconry of Lewes and noted that he was a yeoman and she a spinster and they were both of Fletching.  As Susan Turner widow, she may have married Edward Payne on 23 July 1627 in Fletching.

Thomas Turner, senior and junior (this doesn't not necessarily mean junior was the son of senior) had the following children:

  1. Joane Turner was baptised on 22 November 1618 in Fletching.  The baptism register recorded that she was the daughter of Thomas Turner, junior.

  2. George Turner was baptised on 28 January 1620/1 in Fletching.

  3. Thomas Turner was baptised on 26 January 1623/4 in Fletching and buried there on 19 January 1623/4.  The baptism and burial registers noted he was the son of Thomas Turner, junior.

  4. John Turner was baptised on 22 February 1623/4 in Fletching.  The baptism register noted that he was the son of Thomas Turner, senior.

  5. Mary Turner was baptised on 11 September 1625 in Fletching, the daughter of Thomas Turner, junior.

  6. Richard Turner was baptised on 10 September 1626 in Fletching.

  7. Thomas Turner was baptised on 6 July 1628 in Fletching.  He may have married Martha Warnett on 17 February 1652/3 in Horsted Keynes.

  8. John Turner was baptised on 19 December 1630 in Fletching and buried there on 5 February 1630/1.

  9. William Turner was baptised on 15 April 1632 in Fletching.

  10. Anne Turner was baptised on 11 October 1635 in Fletching.

 

Martin Turner and unknown married on 29 October 1604 in Fletching.

Nicholas Turner and Judith Bryan married on 22 June 1612 in West Hoathly.

Richard Turner and Elizabeth Plawe married on 11 January 1612/3 in East Grinstead.

Richard Turner and Joan Baker married on 22 April 1616 in Fletching.

A marriage licence was issued on 18 May 1619 by the Archdeaconry of Lewes to Richard Turner a tailor of Horsted Keynes and Mercy Tye a widow of the same place.

Richard Turner and Mary Mils married on 19 June 1620 in Horsted Keynes.

Nicholas Turner and Elizabeth Varden, widow married on 2 December 1628 in Maresfield.

 

William Turner was buried on 22 August 1612 in Fletching.

William Turner was buried on 18 March 1612/3 in Fletching.  He was the son of Nicholas Turner.

The wife of Richard Turner was buried on 17 July 1613 in Fletching.

Simon Turner was buried on 8 August 1614 in Fletching.

Nicholas Turner was buried on 28 September 1616 in Fletching.  He was the son of Nicholas Turner.

Anne Turner was buried on 4 May 1620 in Fletching.  She was the daughter of Martin Turner.

Thomas Turner was buried on 24 May 1620 in Fletching.  He was the son of Richard Turner.

Mary Turner was buried on 1 May 1621 in Fletching.

Alse Turner was buried on 19 July 1622 in Fletching.

John Turner was buried on 9 August 1622 in Fletching.  He was the son of Richard Turner.

Thomas Turner was buried on 29 January 1623/4 in Fletching.  He was the son of Thomas Turner, junior.

Richard Turner was buried on 19 October 1626 in Fletching.

Mathewe Turner was buried on 26 August 1627 in Fletching.

A infant daughter of Richard Turner was buried on 8 February 1627/8 in Fletching.

Widdowe Turner was buried on 19 May 1628 in Fletching.

John Turner was buried on 5 February 1630/1 in Fletching.  He was the son of Thomas Turner.

Mary Turner was buried on 12 July 1634 in Fletching.

Martin Turner was buried on 5 September 1638 in Fletching.

The wife of Richard Turner was buried on 1 February 1638/9 in Fletching.

Old Martin Turner was buried on 19 June 1649 in Fletching.

Joane Turner was buried on 30 October 1649 in Fletching.  She was the daughter of Thomas Turner.
