Laurence Tillet and Susan West married on 6 November 1681 in Pulborough, Sussex.

Laurence Tillet was baptised on 9 July 1643 in Billingshurst, Sussex.  He was the son of Laurence Tillet (c1610-1672) and Elizabeth Lunt (c1620-1690).  He was mentioned in his father's will and left a legacy of one shilling.  His father was a carpenter.

Susan West was baptised on 14 December 1651 in Pulborough, Sussex.  She was the daughter of William West (c1625-?).

Laurence Tillit and Susan West had 4 known children:

1. John Tillet was baptised on 30 September 1683 in Pulborough.  He was also baptised in Billingshurst on 14 October 1683 and it was noted in the baptism register that his father was from Pulborough.

2. Elizabeth Tillet was baptised on 15 December 1685 in Pulborough.  She was also baptised on 20 December 1685 in Billingshurst, Sussex, by the name of Elizabeth Tillat, and it was noted her father was from Pulborough.

3. Mary Tillat was baptised on 17 January 1688/9 in Billingshurst, at which time her father was from Pulborough.  She may have married Daniel Wild in 1713.  (They have their own page.)

4. Sarah Tillat was baptised on 21 October 1690 in Billingshurst, and it was noted her father was from Pulborough.

Laurence may have died before 1694 as Susan Tillat was the mother of:

1. Benedicta Tillat was baptised on 22 July 1694 in Billingshurst, and it was noted her mother was from Pulborough.

I have checked transcripts of Billingshurst and Pulborough burial registers, and there were no Tilletts buried in either place between 1690-94 - need to check the original registers.
