When the 1841
census was recorded the couple and 20 year old John Tulet, an
agricultural labourer, were living in Cootham within the parish of
Storrington. Henry was then a 75 year old carpenter.
Henry Tulett and Sarah
may have had the following children:
Mary Tulett was baptised on 24 August 1802 in Shere, Surrey.
Henry Tullett was baptised on 24 June 1804 in Wonersh, Surrey.
He may have died aged 72 years in the Thakeham Union Workhouse and have
been buried on 11 February 1875 in Storrington.
Henry married Ann Smith on 17 November 1830 in Storrington.
He was a bachelor and she was a widow.
Henry and Ann had the following daughter:
Mary Anne Tullett was baptised on 26 June 1831 in Storrington.
The baptism register notes that her father was a labourer from Cootham.
William Tullett was baptised on 24 February 1809 in Albury, Surrey.
William married Mary Street on 26 July 1836 in Storrington.
He was a bachelor and she a spinster.
Mary died aged 21 years in Cootham and was buried on 26 April 1837 in

Alfred Tullet was baptised on 1 January 1837 in Storrington, at
which time his father was a labourer from Cootham.
Elizabeth Tulett was baptised on 2 October 1814 in Storrington.
It was recorded in the baptism register that her father was a carpenter

He was then a bachelor and she a spinster.
John Tulett was baptised on 20 September 1818 in Storrington.
His father was then recorded as a carpenter from Cootham.
John married Caroline Graves by banns on 25 October 1846 in
Storrington. He was a bachelor and labourer and she was a spinster.
The witnesses to their marriage were Edward Elliot and John
Battcock. John's father was named as Harry Tullett a
deceased carpenter. Caroline was said to be the baseborn daughter of
Caroline was born about 1822 in Washington, Sussex. She died in
Cootham aged 56 years and was buried on 6 September 1878 in Storrington.
At the time of the 1851 census the couple and 3 children were living in
Cootham and John was a 32 year old agricultural labourer. Also with
them on census night was unmarried 47 year old aunt Maria Graves,
who had been born in Findon, Sussex and was on parish relief.
John and Caroline had the following known children:
Mary Anne Tulet was baptised on 3 January 1847 in Storrington, at
which time her father was a labourer from Cootham. She was 4 years
old in 1851.
Jane Tulet was baptised on 4 March 1849 in Storrington. She
was 2 years old in 1851.
Alfred Tulett was baptised on 4 May 1851 in Storrington. He
was 1 week old at the time of thei 1851 census.
Sarah Tulett was baptised on 3 July 1853 in Storrington.
Harry Tulett was baptised on 3 February 1856 in Storrington.
Elizabeth Harriett Tulett was baptised on 6 June 1858 in
Storrington. She died aged 3 months and was buried on 27 June 1858
Frank Tullett was baptised on 7 August 1859 in Storrington.
