Edward TULLET (c1750-?)

and Hannah ISTED (1752-?)

Edward Tullet and Hannah Isted married by banns on 14 June 1774 in Horsted Keynes, Sussex.  They were both then of Horsted Keynes.  (They were not my direct ancestors.)

Edward Tullet's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.  See below for possible baptisms.

Hannah Isted was baptised on 12 January 1752 in Horsted Keynes.  She was the daughter of William Isted and Elizabeth.

Edward Tullet and Hannah Isted had 2 known children:

  1. Hannah Tullet was baptised on 4 May 1779 in Horsted Keynes.

Hannah married Thomas Baker on 30 June 1796 in Horsted Keynes.

Thomas was baptised on 27 October 1776 in Horsted Keynes and was the son of William Baker and Elizabeth.

Thomas and Hannah had the following children:

    1. William Baker was baptised on 16 October 1796 in Horsted Keynes.

    2. Edward Baker was baptised on 4 March 1798 in Horsted Keynes.

    3. Elizabeth Baker was baptised on 13 May 1800 in Horsted Keynes.

    4. George Baker was baptised on 1 May 1803 in Horsted Keynes.

    5. Ann Baker was baptised on 9 April 1809 in Horsted Keynes.

  2. Edward Tulet was baptised on 11 August 1783 in Horsted Keynes.  He married twice, firstly to Rebecca Rogers in 1807 and then to Susannah Davy in 1823.  (They have their own page.)

Did Edward have a brother named Henry Tullet who married Elizabeth Langridge by banns on 11 October 1778 in Horsted Keynes?  And might Henry have been baptised:

  1. Henry Toolet was baptised on 1 July 1750 in Horley, the son of Edward Toolet and Mary.

  2. Henry Tullett was baptised on 3 May 1754 in Crawley, the son of Richard Tullett and Elizabeth (?-1780).

Possible baptisms for Edward:

  1. Edward Toolet was baptised on 12 June 1743 in Horley, Surrey, the son of Edward Toolet and Mary.  This Edward Tullett may have married Joyce Miller on 20 November 1773 in Horley.

  2. Edward Tullett was baptised on 29 December 1745 in Crawley, Sussex, the son of Richard Tullett and Elizabeth.  I think as  Edward Tulet of Worth, Sussex, he married Jane Smith on 11 December 1772 in Horley, Surrey.  (They have their own page.)

  3. Edward Toolet was baptised on 1 April 1747 in Thursley, Surrey, the son of Edward Toolet and Diannia Venere, who had married on 31 May 1744 in Haslemere.

  4. Edward Tulat was baptised on 11 November 1748 in Haslemere, Surrey, the son of Edward Tulat and Anna.  An Edward Toolet married Ann Sayers, spinster, on 14 June 1742 in Horsham, Sussex.

  5. Edward Toolett was baptised on 16 July 1749 in Nuthurst, Sussex, the son of Edward Tulett and Catherine Bish who had married on 15 May 1738 in Nuthurst.
