I began typing up this page on 7 March 2009, from
various bits and pieces I had cobbled together over the years.
I now can't remember where it all came from, so apologies for
pinching someone else's research. At some point I'll try and
get around to double checking everything and adding to the page, as
I do have a bit more stashed away - it's just finding the time.
I will also probably give some of the Tugwell families their own
pages.
Elsewhere in this site I mention the family of
Thomas Tugwell who was born about 1803 in Keymer, and
who married Louisa Hoadley in Henfield, Sussex in
1824. For the moment I don't have any more on this Thomas and
don't know he connects into the above family.
I have also done a bit on the
Trigwell
family in Sussex and occasionally it would seem Tugwell and Trigwell
were either interchangeable or miss transcribed.
Also at some point I'll create a main Tugwell
page.
