John TREE (c1700-?)

and Ann RIDGE (1699-?)

 

John Tree and Ann Ridge were my step 7x Great Grandparents  (Click here to see their place in my pedigree chart.).  They married on 13 April 1721 in Cowfold, Sussex.

John Tree's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.  It is also possible that his, or his family's, surname was spelt Attree?

Ann Ridge was baptised on 17 January 1698/9 in Cowfold, Sussex.  She was the daughter of John Ridge and Anne Wash.

 

John Tree and Ann Ridge had 6 known children:

  1. John Tree was baptised on 16 April 1721 in Cowfold.

  2. Ann Tree, my possible 6x Great Grandmother, was baptised on 30 September 1722 in Cowfold.  She married Richard Silverson in 1749.  (They have their own page.)

  3. Sarah Tree was baptised on 4 March 1729/30 in Cowfold.

  4. William Tree was baptised on 30 January 1731/2 in Cowfold.

  5. James Tree was baptised on 15 October 1738 in Shermanbury, Sussex.

  6. James Tree was baptised on 10 June 1740 in Shermanbury.
