John TICEHURST (c1575-1649)

and unknown (?-?)

John Tycehurst may have married Elizabeth Braie on 18 April 1599 in Ashburnham.  But see below for other possible marriages.  In 1611 a Richard Bray and Thomas Ticehurst together with James Easton were tenants of Batchelors in Ashburnham.  By 1652 Batchelors was owned by John Ticehurst.

  5. Mary Ticehurst was baptised on 10 April 1610 in Ashburnham.  She was mentioned in her father's will, but not that of her brother Thomas.  Mary married John Foster, gent, before 1644.  No possible marriage has been found for them in the Sussex Family History Group's marriage index or the IGI.

  6. William Tisehurst may have been baptised on 25 October 1612 or on 5 June 1614 in Ashburnham.  The first William may have died as an infant, or they may belong to separate families.  He was mentioned in his father's will and that of his brother Thomas at which time he had 7 living children.
