He was the son of Ralph
Thorns (1660-1741) and
Mary Feist
(c1665-1722). At the time of his baptism, his father was a labourer.
He was buried on 2 June 1773 in Warnham, Sussex.
Joan Grumbridge was baptised on 13 June 1706 in Horsham.
She was the daughter of John Grumbridge and Joan
Matthews. At the time of her baptism, her father was a
labourer. She was buried on 4 February 1783 in Warnham.
