John TANNER
(c1585-?)
and Margaret FREEMAN (c1590-?)
and Unknown (c1600-?)

John
Tanner may have been my 10x
Great Grandfather. He may have first married Margaret Freeman
on 14 July 1611 in Laughton, Sussex. He may have married again
sometime before or about 1622.
John
Tanner's date and place of
birth/baptism are unknonw, to me.
Margaret
Freeman's date and place of birth/baptism are unknonw, to me.
John Tanner had 4 known
children:
-
Mary
Tanner was baptised on 12 January
1622/3 in Laughton.
-
Thomas Tanner,
my possible 9x Great Grandfather, was baptised on 3 April 1625 in Laughton.
He married Joan
Vine in 1655. (They have their own page.)
-
Johane Tanner was baptised on 7 December 1628 in Laughton.
She may have married Alexander Guy in July 1652 in South Malling,
Sussex. She was then said to be of Ringmer, Sussex.
-
Anne Tanner was baptised on 9 February 1632/3 in Laughton.
Is it possible that Margaret Freeman was the mother of the above
children? If so I wonder why they waited 11 years after they married.

TANNER
