in Appledore, Kent.
Ann Gibbon was baptised on 16 October 1715 in Salehurst, Sussex.
She was the daughter of William Gibbon and Susanna Elphick.
She died on 11 January 1801 and was buried on 21 January 1801 in Appledore.

Edward married twice. Firstly to Sarah Newman by banns on 16 October
1774 in Appledore. He was a bachelor and she a spinster and they
were both of Appledore. The witnesses to their marriage were
John Packham and Henry Lanes.
Sarah was born about 1752. She died or was buried on 21 February
1786 in Appledore.

census was recorded the couple were servants in the home of William
Cook at Court Lodge Farm in Appledore.
James Waterman Strickland was baptised on 22 May 1814 in Appledore. He died on 11 August 1879. James married
Louisa King. She was born about 1813 in Staplehurst, Kent.
They had 10 known children.
Elizabeth Strickland was baptised on 6 March 1779 in Appledore.
Mary Strickland was baptised on 1 April 1780 in Appledore.
John Strickland was baptised on 14 December 1781 in Appledore and died in 1782.

Robert Strickland was baptised on 7 May 1792 in Appledore. Did he
