Thomas Stoner and Phoebe Agates married on 7 February
1765 in Cuckfield, Sussex. He was then a bachelor residing in the parish
of Cuckfield and Phoebe was of Cuckfield.
(They were not my direct ancestors.)
Thomas Stoner may have been baptised on 23 September 1739
in Cowfold, Sussex, and have been the son of
Phoebe Agates date and place of birth/baptism are
unknown, to me.
On 5 July 1766 a settlement certificate was issued to Thomas
Stoner, his wife Phebe and 14 month old daughter Phebe, by the
oversears of Cowfold parish to Cuckfield parish (or vice versa).
