When the 1841 census was recorded the couple and 5 children were living at

James Stoner

When the 1851 census was recorded she was an unmarried 22 year old

Caroline married
twice, firstly to Edward Hillman on 18 July 1847 in

whilst she was an 18 year old spinster. Their fathers were
named as Edward Hillman and John Stoner

She then married Thomas Holland on 27 November 1859 in
Southwater, Sussex.

Edward Hillman and Mary Hammond.
He died aged 30 years in Cuckfield and was buried on 11 March 1855 in
West Grinstead.
When the 1851 census was recorded, Edward was a 27 year old agricultural
