Henry STONER (1751-1821)
and Elizabeth CHASEMORE (1742-1833)

Henry Stoner and Elizabeth Chasemore
married by banns on 16 May 1775 in Horsham, Sussex. He was then a
husbandman of Nuthurst and she was a spinster Horsham. The witnesses
to their marriage were Sarah Nailard and Richard
Howes.
(They were not my direct ancestors.)
Henry Stoner was baptised on 22 September 1751 in
Cowfold, Sussex. He was the son of
Thomas Stoner (1701-1768) and
Mary (?-1788). Henry died aged 70 years in Bramber
and was buried on 28 August 1821 in Upper Beeding. Another
Henry Stoner was
baptised on 22 April 1753 in Cowfold, the son of
Thomas Stoner and
Ann White.
Elizabeth Chasemore was baptised on 26 November 1742 in
Horsham, Sussex. She was the daughter of Ann Naylard.
Elizabeth died aged 91 years and was buried on 13 November 1833 in Upper
Beeding.
A removal order was issued on 4 November 1786 returning Henry his wife
Elizabeth and children Ann, Hannah, Philip, Thomas and William, from
Nuthurst to Cowfold.

Thomas Stoner was baptised on 3 March 1776 in Horsham.
He was 10 years old on 4 November 1786.
Thomas may have married
Sarah Matthews by banns on 10 January 1805 in Horsham.
He was a bachelor and she a spinster and they were both of Horsham.
The witnesses to their marriage were John Parsons and
Ann Cragg.

She was 8 years old on 4 November 1786.

years old in 1786. She married
