William STEDMAN (1606-?)

and Ann JENNER (1606-1648)

 

William Stedman and Ann Jenner married on 14 June 1636 in Cuckfield, Sussex.

William Stedman was baptised on 18 May 1606 in Bolney, Sussex.  He was the son of John Stedman (1571-?) and Thomsen Ellis.  William was a wheel maker and on 27 March 1643 he took on Stephen Jenner, son of Francis Jenner a deceased husbandman, as an apprentice.  William was then of Cuckfield.

Ann Jenner was baptised on 23 November 1606 in Cuckfield.  She was the daughter of Henry Jenner (c1580-1629) and Dorothy Snellz (?-1658).  Ann was buried on 13 October 1648 in Cuckfield.

 

William Stedman and Ann Jenner had 1 known son:

  1. John Stedman was baptised on 9 October 1636 in Cuckfield.  He married Mary Burstow in 1670.  (They have their own page.)
