Thomas STANLEY (1660-1727)

and Zipporah BROWNE (?-1724)

 

Thomas Stanley and Zipporah Browne married on 19 January 1686/7 in Ringmer, Sussex.  They were not my direct ancestors, but were the 8x Great Grandparents of Ron Miller.

Thomas Stanley was baptised on 15 August 1660 in Ringmer.  He was the son of John Stanley (1629-?) and Jane.  He was buried on 1 December 1727 in Ringmer.

Zipporah Browne's date and place of birth are unknown.  She was buried on 5 September 1724 in Ringmer.

 

Thomas Stanley and Zipporah Browne had 5 known children:

  1. Mary Stanley was baptised on 2 October 1689 in Ringmer.

  2. John Stanley was baptised on 3 June 1691 in Ringmer.

  3. Susanna Stanley was baptised on 3 June 1691 in Ringmer.  She married Edward Nutley on 28 April 1719 in Ringmer.  Edward was baptised on 26 September 1686.  (They were the 7x Great Grandparents of Ron Miller.)  The couple had 6 known children:

    1. Elizabeth Nutley was baptised on 12 April 1720 in Ringmer.  She married William Cosham on 4 October 1744 in Ringmer.

      1. Edward Cosham married Mary Taylor on 11 September 1768 in Ringmer.

        Lydia Cosham was baptised on 14 August 1785 in Ringmer.  She married William Highlands on 13 May 1816 in Ringmer.

    2. John Nutley was baptised on 25 August 1721 in Ringmer.

    3. Edward Nutley was baptised on 14 June 1724 in Ringmer and buried there on 3 March 1738.

    4. Caleb Nutley was baptised on 25 August 1726 in Ringmer and buried there on 20 January 1728/9.

    5. Zipporah Nutley was baptised on 25 August 1726 in Ringmer.

    6. Susanne Nutley was baptised on 21 November 1729 in Ringmer.

  4. Thomas Stanley was baptised on 1 September 1693 in Ringmer.

  5. William Stanley was baptised on 30 March 1696 in Ringmer.
