Jane wife of Robert Snashall  was buried on 28 December 1664 in Slaugham.  Robert Snashall was buried on 18 July 1704 in Slaugham.  The IGI records that a Robert Snashall married Jane Bunducks on 11 July 1644 at St. Martin Orgar and St. Clements Eastcheap in London.  Robert Snashall of Slaugham left a will in 1705

Thomas Snashall married unknown before 1657.  Was he the Thomas Snashall born in Crawley in 1633?  They had the following children:

1. Mary Snashall was born on 8 May 1657 in Slaugham.

2. John Snashall was baptised on 3 March 1663 in Slaugham.  Did he marry Ann Garston in Slaugham in 1688?

3. Mary Snashall was baptised in March 1666 in Slaugham.  She was buried on 6 May 1669 in Slaugham, as the daughter of Thomas Snashall.

On 11 August 1656, Thomas Snashall was a witness to the conveyance of property in Slaugham.  Thomas Snashall, labourer was buried on 25 July 1700 in Slaugham.

A Thomas Snashall of Shipley left a will dated/proved on 7 January 1708.  I have not found a burial for him in a transcript of the Shipley registers.

Samuel Snashall married unknown before 1659.  Is this the same Samuel Snashall who was in Cuckfield from 1645-1654?  They had the following child:

1. Mary Snashall was baptised on 1659/60 in Hurstpierpoint.

John Snashall and Eleanor Freeman married on 19 February 1666/7 in West Grinstead.  Might John have had a sister Agnes Snashall who married Roger Ayling by banns on 13 May 1676 in West Grinstead?

Samuel Snashall and Mary married before 1672.  Was this the Samuel Snashall who was born in Cuckfield in 1645?  They had the following child:

1. Sarah Snashall was baptised on 9 April 1672 in Hurstpierpoint and buried on 14 September 1675.

On 21 October 1672, a Samuel Snashall, Farrier of Hurstpierpoint, together with Elizabeth Snashall, widow, conveyed property to Samuel Tapsal, Yeoman of Maresfield.  A Bond was drawn up by Samuel Snashall of Hurstpierpoint to Samuel Tapsell on 20 January 1675.  In 1676 Samuel took over the mortgage on Lambes in Hurstpierpoint.  On 22 June 1683 he purchased Hatbois and Randidles in Hurstpierpoint.

John Snashall and Elizabeth Theakstone married on 1 April 1673 in Rotherfield.  They may have had the following child:

1. Elizabeth Snashall was baptised on 28 March 1675 in Rotherfield.

Robert Snashall and Elizabeth Towse married on 16 October 1679 in Billingshurst.  He was then of Chiltington and she of Billingshurst.  They may have had the following child:

1. John Snashall was baptised on 15 August 1680 in West Chiltington.  He married Mary Bishop in 1704.

John Snashall and Elizabeth Hammond married on 20 June 1681 at the Quaker Meeting House in Cuckfield.  He was then a Blacksmith of Hurstpierpoint and she a Spinster of Crawley.  John may have been born about 1654.  He died aged 76 years and was buried as a Quaker on 15 September 1732 in Twineham.  Might John have had a sister Sarah Snashfold who married Richard Newell on 6 April 1680 at the Quaker Meeting House in Arundel?

Thomas Snashall and Elizabeth Weaver married on 27 April 1682 in Rotherfield.  They may have had the following children:

1. Anne Snashall was baptised on 25 February 1682/3 in Rotherfield.

2. Mary Snashall was baptised on 11 November 1688 in Rotherfield.

3. Thomas Snashall was baptised on 4 May 1690 in Rotherfield.

4. Simon Snashall was baptised on 26 June 1692 in Rotherfield.

John Snashall and Ann Garston married on 7 February 1687/8 in Slaugham, Sussex.  Was he the John Snashall born in Slaugham in 1663?

A John Snashall was buried on 19 March 1704/5 in Slaugham.  Anne Snashall, widow was buried on 9 April 1731 in Slaugham.

1. Susanna Snashall was baptised on 8 January 1692/3 in Slaugham.  Only her father's name was recorded in the baptism register.

4. Robert Snashall was baptised on 14 April 1698 in Slaugham.  The baptism register noted that he was the son of John and Ann.

5. Elizabeth Snashall was baptised on 7 February 1700/1 in Slaugham.  The baptism register noted that she was the daughter of John and Ann.

Might John have been the son of John Snashall and Eleanor Freeman who married on 19 February 1666/7 in West Grinstead?  Ellinor may have been baptised on 3 July 1642 in Shipley, Sussex and have been the daughter of William Freeman.

A John Snashall was buried on 8 December 1732 in West Grinstead.

John and Elizabeth had the following children:

1. Mary Snashall was baptised on 15 January 1686/7 in West Grinstead.

2. Ann Snashall was baptised on 17 March 1688/9 in West Grinstead.  She probably died as an infant.

3. John Snashall was baptised on 23 March 1689/90 in West Grinstead.  Might he have married Elizabeth Barden in 1720 in Shermanbury?

4. Ann Snashall was baptised on 7 February 1692/3 in West Grinstead and may have been buried there on 19 April 1693.

5. Edmund Snashall was baptised on 6 February 1693/4 in West Grinstead and buried there on 11 February 1693/4.

6. Henry Snechall was baptised on 19 May 1696 in West Grinstead.  He was buried on 23 March 1726/7 in West Grinstead and it was noted in the burial register that he was a single man from Steyning.

7. Thomas Snashall was baptised on 29 June 1699 in West Grinstead and buried there on 19 April 1710.

8. Samuel Snashall was baptised on 18 April 1703 in West Grinstead.

   Samuel married Mary Ethridge by banns on 2 October 1729 in West Grinstead.  The wife of Samuel Snashall from Ashurst was buried in West Grinstead on 10 March 1775.

   On 1 January 1730 a settlement certificate was issued to Samuel Snashall by the overseers of West Grinstead to enable him to settle in Ashurst.

Samuel Snashall and Tamsin Newington married on 5 September 1689 in Kingston by Sea.

John Snashall and Sarah Comber married by licence dated 16 October 1696, which was issued by the Archdeaconry of Lewes.  John was of New Shoreham, Sussex and Sarah was a Spinster of Lewes.

An Elizabeth Snashall was buried on 15 December 1696 in New Shoreham.
