William SYXWORTH
(c1540-1588)
and Joan HOWELL (c1540-1592)

William
Syxworth and Joan Howell may
have been my 12x Great Grandparents. (Click
here
to see their place in my pedigree chart.) They married on 10 February
1563/4 in East Dean, Sussex.
William Sixworth's
date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me. He may have been
buried on 10 November 1588 in Eastbourne, Sussex.
Joan Howell's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
A transcript of the St. Mary's, Eastbourne burial register records that
Johan Sixffourd, widow was buried on 6
February 1592.
William Syxworth and Joan
Howell had 4 known children and possibly more:

Mary Sixworth may have been part of this family. She
married Henry Fennell on 22 October 1590 in Eastbourne.

Margery Sixworth may have been part of this family. She
married Henry Fennell on 25 August 1600 in Eastbourne.

Agnes
Sixworth was baptised on 23 March
1574 in Eastbourne. She may have married John Browman
married on 9 November 1606 in Eastbourne.

Johane Sixworth was buried on 1 May 1575 in Eastbourne.
The burial register recorded that she was the daughter of William.

Johane Sixworth was baptised on 7 October 1577 in Eastbourne.
She may have married Peter Batcheler married on 15 February 1613/4
in Chiddingly, Sussex.

Katherine Sixworth was baptised on 25 February 1580 in Eastbourne.
