He was born about 1803 in Harting.
George married Jane Wells by banns on 13 June 1828 in
Harting, Sussex. He was then a bachelor and she a spinster and
they were both of Harting. The witnesses to their marriage were
Thomas Pink and Mary Mittin.
Jane was born about 1807/8 in Petersfield, Hampshire. She died
aged 47 years in West Harting and was buried on 12 December 1854 in
Harting.
The 1851 census records that the couple and 3 children were living at
Nye Woods in Harting. George was then a 48 year old
agricultural labourer and Jane was 43.

He died aged 9 years and was buried on 19 September 1848 in Harting.
The burial register noted that he was from Havant, Hampshire.

Hampshire. He was 2 years old at the time of the 1851 census.

Sarah Restall was born about 1807 in Harting.
Sarah married Thomas Ellison by banns on 11 July 1824
in Harting. She was a spinster and he a bachelor and they were
both of Harting. The witnesses to their marriage were
George Restall and Charlotte Ellison.
In 1841 the couple were living in Harting with her father. Thomas
was then a 35 year old agricultural labourer and Sarah was 35.
Also with them was 16 year old Sarah Ellison.
When the 1851 census was recorded the couple were living at Champs in Harting along with Sarah's widower father. Thomas was then a 45
year old farmer and Sarah was 44.
