Family History is my hobby.  I am not a professional genealogist.

William QUAIT (c1725-?)

and Elizabeth WOODFORD (c1730-?)

William Quait and Elizabeth Woodford married on 3 March 1754 at St. Botolph's, Bishopgate, London.  (They were not my direct ancestors.)

William Quait may have been baptised on 3 February 1729 at St. James in Clerkenwell, London, the son of George Quait and Mary, or on 10 March 1732 in Ash, Surrey, the son of William Quait and Ann Harwood.  (One of them married Ann Mills on 4 May 1752 in Horsham, Sussex.)

Elizabeth Woodford's date and place of birth are unknown, to me.

William Quait and Elizabeth Woodford had 6 or 7 known children:

  1. William Quait was baptised on 22 November 1754 at St. Dunstan in the East, London.

  2. Elizabeth Quait was baptised on 10 March 1757 at St. Dunstan in the East, London.

  3. William Quait was baptised on 1 February 1759 at St. Luke's, Old Street, Finsbury, London.

  4. John Quait was baptised on 2 April 1761 at St. Luke's, Old Street, Finsbury, London.

  5. Ann Quait was baptised on 23 March 1763 at St. Luke's, Old Street, Finsbury, London.

  6. Catherine Quait may have been part of this family.  She was baptised on 7 September 1764 in Perranzabuloe, Cornwall.

  7. Richard Woodford Quait was baptised on 12 May 1766 at St. Luke's, Old Street, Finsbury, London.
