was a miller.
The 1851 census records the couple were living in Reigate Foreign.
William was a 50 year old miller and Charlotte was 46. They
both gave their place of birth as Charlwood, Surrey. Four of
their children were with them on census night along with unmarried
21 year old lodger Charlotte Luck.

1837 in Reigate. He was 6 years old in 1841.
Charles Quait was baptised on 24 November 1839
in Reigate. At the time of the 1841 census he was 3 years
old. The 1851 census records he was 11 years old.
Edmund Quait was baptised on 15 May 1842 in
Alfred Quait was born about 1846 in Reigate.
He was 5 years old in 1851.
Robert Quait was baptised on 14 May 1848 in
Reigate. He was 2 years old in 1851.
Edmund Quait was born on 3 January 1803 and
baptised on 23 January 1803 in East Molesey. He married
Mary Ann Wagstaff in 1822. (They have their

The 1851 census records the couple and daughter Mary were living at
Milton Court Mill in Dorking. John was a 49 year old miller
and gave his place of birth as Molesey. Sarah was 52 and said
she was born in East Grinstead.
