Abraham PRONGER (1702-?)

and Jane (?-?)

 

Abraham Pronger and Jane married sometime before or about 1731, possibly in or near Leigh, Kent.  (They were not my direct ancestors.)

Abraham Pronger may have been baptised on 28 October 1702 in Nuthurst, Sussex, and have been the son of John Pronger and Mary or Ann.

Jane's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

 

Abraham Pronger and Jane had 9 known children:

  1. John Pronger was baptised on 4 March 1732 in Leigh, Kent.

  2. Sarah Pronger was baptised on 18 January 1735 in Leigh.

  3. Thomas Pronger was baptised on 19 August 1737 in Tonbridge, Kent.  He married Catherine Crowhurst in 1776.  (They have their own page.)

  4. William Pronger was baptised on 14 May 1740 in Tonbridge.

  5. Richard Pronger was baptised on 3 March 1741/2 in Tonbridge.  He may have married Elizabeth Gallard on 26 January 1776 in Dartford, Kent.

  6. Robert Pronger was baptised on 8 January 1743/4 in Tonbridge.

    Robert married Elizabeth Saker on 20 January 1772 in Dartford, Kent

    Robert and Elizabeth had the following children:

    1. William Pronger was baptised on 28 June 1772 in Dartford and buried there on 18 September 1772.

    2. George Pronger was baptised on 22 August 1773 in Dartford.

    3. John Pronger was baptised on 5 April 1775 in Dartford.

    4. William Pronger was baptised on 24 April 1776 in Dartford.

    5. Frances Pronger was baptised on 27 July 1777 in Dartford and buried there on 14 September 1777.

    6. Elizabeth Pronger was baptised on 17 October 1779 in Dartford.

    7. Sarah Pronger was baptised on 3 March 1782 in Dartford.

  7. Jane Pronger was baptised on 17 January 1746 in Tonbridge.

  8. George Pronger was baptised on 28 June 1747 in Tonbridge.

    Might he have married Susanah Betts on 29 April 1782 in Bromley, Kent? 

    George and Susanna had the following children:

    1. George Pronger was baptised on 21 July 1782 in Bromley.

    2. Charles Pronger was baptised on 31 October 1783 in Bromley.

    3. Sarah Pronger was baptised on 31 December 1784 in Bromely.  Only her mother's name was recorded in the baptism register.

  9. Henry Pronger was baptised on 24 December 1749 in Tonbridge.
