Henry PLASTED
(c1610-1649)
Robert GINNER
(c1610-?)
and Joan ZACRE (c1610-?)

Henry Plasted
and
Joan Zacre
were my 10x Great Grandparents. They
married by licence dated 21 February 1635, which was issued in South
Malling. She was then a Spinster and they were both of Wadhurst,
Sussex
Henry Plasted's
date and place of birth/baptism are
unknown, to me. He may have been baptised on 8 August 1613 in
Shoreham, Kent and have been the son of
Henry Plaster
and
Mary Rumney,
but Shoreham to Wadhurst is a fair distance, so I am not so sure.
Henry was an innholder of Wadhurst. His will was proved on 15
June 1649.
Joan Zacre’s
date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me. As Joan Plaister, widow
she married
Robert Ginner
on 9 October 1649 in Frant, Sussex.
Robert Ginner’s
date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
Henry Plasted and Joan
Zacre may have had the following children:
-
Joan Plasted
was baptised on 8 June 1635 in Wadhurst
and buried there on 24 August 1639.
-
Richard Plasted
was baptised on 31 May 1638 in Wadhurst.
-
Sarah
Plasted, my 9x Great
Grandmother, was baptised on 28 January 1641 in Wadhurst. She married
Samuel Swift
in 1662. (They have their own
page.)
-
Henry Plasted
may have been their son and he may have
married Mary
Crowhurst on 3 October 1664 in
Wadhurst.
-
Mary Plasted
was baptised on 15 January 1647 in
Wadhurst.
