Thomas Piper and Joan Walche married on 23 April 1620 in Storrington, Sussex.

Thomas Piper and Margaret Heliar, widow, married by licence on 27 July 1623 at St. Peter the Great in Chichester, Sussex.  They were both of Bury, Sussex.  Their marriage licence was issued on 27 September 1623 (dates from the Sussex marriage index), by the Deanery of Chichester, which noted that Thomas was of Bury and Margaret Hellyer was a widow of Chichester Sub Deanery.

Thomas Piper's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.  A Thomas Piper signed the Coldwaltham Protestation return in 1641.

Joan Walche's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

Margaret's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me. 

 

Thomas Piper was the father of the following children:

  1. Richard Pyper was baptised on 12 January 1620/1 in Coldwaltham.  Only his father's name was recorded in the baptism register.

  2. Joan Pyper was baptised on 18 May 1623 in Coldwaltham.  Only her father's name was recorded in the baptism register.

  3. Henry Piper was baptised on 2 July 1624 in Coldwaltham.  His parents were named as Thomas and Margarett.

  4. Katherine Piper was baptised on 29 January 1625 in Coldwaltham.  Her parents were named as Thomas and Joan.

  5. Edmund Piper was baptised on 1 February 1628 in Coldwaltham.  His parents were named as Thomas and Margarett.

  6. Jane Piper was baptised on 14 March 1629 in Coldwaltham.  Only his father's name was recorded in the baptism register.

  7. Marie Piper was baptised on 6 January 1630 in Coldwaltham.  Her parents were named as Thomas and Margarett.

  8. Thomas Piper was baptised on 20 June 1633 in Coldwaltham.  Only his father's name was recorded in the baptism register.  Did he marry Joan Carver in 1682?

  9. Robert Piper was baptised on 10 August 1633 in Coldwaltham.  Only his father's name was recorded in the baptism register.

  10. William Piper was baptised on 14 April 1639 in Coldwaltham.  His parents were recorded as Thomas and Margary.

 

 

Edward Piper and Alice Shepherd married by licence on 2 March 1605/6 in Coldwaltham, Sussex.  Their marriage licence was issued by the Archdeaconry of Chichester on 22 February 1605/6 and noted that she was of Coldwaltham.

Edward Piper and Alice had the following children:

  1. John Piper was baptised on 16 November 1606 in Coldwaltham.  Her parents were named as Edward and Alice.

  2. Mary Pyper was baptised on 14 May 1609 in Coldwaltham.  Her parents were named as Edward and Alice.

  3. Margrat Pyper was baptised on 9 February 1611 in Coldwaltham.  Only her father was named.

  1. Margeret Pyper was baptised on 16 February 1614 in Barlavington.

  2. Joys Piper was baptised on 18 April 1618 in Barlavington.

  3. Henry Piper was baptised on 6 May 1621 in Bignor.

 

Richard Pyeper and Joan Talmye married on 19 May 1622 in Fittleworth.

Richard Piper and Frances Hilldrup married on 22 April 1624 in Fittleworth.

Richard Piper may have been baptised on 3 May 1601 in Washington, Sussex, the son of Richard Piper or Boucker.

Richard Piper had the following children:

  1. John Piper was baptised on 22 July 1623 in Fittleworth, Sussex and buried there on 24 July 1623.

  2. Mary Pyper was baptised on 19 June 1625 in Fittleworth.

  3. Francis Piper was baptised on 23 September 1627 in Fittleworth.

  4. Ann Pyper was baptised on 27 February 1630 in Fittleworth.

  5. Richard Pyper was baptised on 19 April 1635 in Fittleworth.

  6. Elizabeth Pyper was baptised on 4 February 1637 in Fittleworth.  The baptism register named her parents as Rich and Frauncis.

 

Henry Piper married Mary Beste on 4 November 1616 in Upwaltham, Sussex.

  2. Ann Piper was baptised on 4 September 1627 in Fittleworth.

John Piper married Joan Bridger on 11 June 1594 in Petworth.

Eleanor Piper married Anthony Bartlo on 16 May 1602 in Billingshurst.

Thomas Piper married Margaret Knighte on 3 June 1605 in Hardham.

Joyce Piper married John Roper on 23 December 1605 in Fittleworth.

Elizabeth Piper married Samuel Barrow on 16 July 1635 in Burton cum Coates.  She was of Coates and he was from Portslade.

 

Ann Piper married John Barkshire on 29 January 1679/80 in Duncton.  She was from Tillington and he was of Duncton.

John Piper married Elizabeth Marshall on 6 February 1682/3 in Woolavington.  She was from Lodsworth.

Jane Piper married Robert Hall on 12 October 1683 in Coldwaltham.

Elizabeth Piper married Anthony Ginne on 11 November 1689 in Woolavington.  She was of Woolavington and he was from Graffham.

 

Susanna Piper married Thomas Kent on 4 June 1700 in Coldwaltham.  A Susanna Piper was baptised on 2 November 1673 in Bosham, the daughter of Thomas Piper and Elizabeth.

Ann Piper married William Meers on 13 July 1701 in Slindon.  An Ann Piper was baptised on 2 July 1679 in Coldwaltham, the daughter of Francis Piper and Elizabeth.

William Piper married Sarah Brooker on 30 July 1701 in Climping.  He was from Warningcamp.

Avis Piper married William Pescott on 16 May 1706 in Stopham.  She was of Stopham and he was from Slindon.  An Avice Piper was baptised in April 1675 in Pulborough, the daughter of Robert Piper.

Elizabeth Piper married John Penycoat on 24 April 1711 in Woolavington.

Jane Piper married John Greenvil on 22 April 1713 in Wiggonholt.  She was from Pulborough.  A Jane Piper was baptised on 1 January 1679 in Pulborough, the daughter of Robert Piper.

Henry Piper married Ann Poke by licence dated 11 June 1715.  He was then a wheelwright of Midhurst and she was of the same place.  They married on 2 July 1715 in Midhurst.  Her name was then recorded as Ann Poock.

William Piper married Sarah Dudman by licence dated 31 October 1715.  He was then a husbandman of Arundel.  They married on 31 October 1715 in Rogate.

Katherine Piper married Thomas Waterman on 3 November 1715 in Sullington.

Mary Piper married Thomas Weller on 18 April 1716 in Woolavington.

William Piper married Elizabeth Arnold on 3 May 1717 at St. Peter the Great in Chichester.  He was from Bosham and she was of the parish of St. Bartholomew.
