They married by licence on 1 August 1694 at St. Michael's, in Lewes, Sussex. He
was then of Henfield and she of the parish of St. Michael's. Their
marriage licence was issued by the Archdeaconry of Lewes on 21 July 1694.
Her name was recorded as Agnes Gasson and it was noted in the margin
that her surname was Garston.
John Norman may have been baptised on 11 August 1667 in East Grinstead, Sussex,
and have been the son of
Bridget Faulkner (1637-?). He may have been buried in Henfield
on 15 September 1720.
Anne Gaston was baptised on 30 March 1667 at St. John the Baptist in
Lewes, Sussex. She was the daughter of
William Gaston and
Mary Picket. She may have been buried on 16 May 1749 or 20 August
1750. Both burials took place in Henfield. Another Anne
Gaston was baptised in December 1664 in Slaugham, Sussex, the daughter
of Thomas Gaston, but I think she may have married William
Flote on 25 May 1691 in Horsham.

they were both of Maresfield.
