and Sarah EGAR (?-?)
William Newnham and
Sarah Avery married
by licence on 20 July 1790 in Wivelsfield, Sussex. Sarah was then a
widow and they were both then of Wivelsfield. (They were not my direct
ancestors.) As Sarah Egar she had previously married

Edmund was from Lindfield and Sarah of Ditchling. The witnesses to
their marriage were ? Whiteman and John Eagers.
