Henry Mills and Ann Nie may have been my 8x Great Grandparents.  (Click here to see their possible place in my pedigree chart.)  They married on 19 May 1635 in Stopham, Sussex.  He was then of Coldwaltham, Sussex and she of Dorking, Surrey.

Henry Mills was baptised on 15 April 1609 in Coldwaltham.  He was the son of Henry Mills and Katherine Parnam.  There was another Henry Mills baptised on 22 February 1603 in Pulborough, Sussex the son of John Mills.

Ann Nye's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.  Might she have been baptised on 19 March 1615 in Horsham, Sussex, the daughter of Thomas Nye and Anne Wood?

Henry Mills and Ann Nye had 10 known children:

1. Henry Mills was baptised on 3 March 1635 in Coldwaltham.

   Henry may have married Ann Daniell on 1 July 1658 in Stopham.

   Henry and Ann had the following children:

   1. Francis Mills was baptised on 31 July 1659 in Coldwaltham.

   2. Marke Mills was baptised on 30 April 1661 in Coldwaltham.

2. Ann Mills was baptised on 20 December 1637 in Coldwaltham.

3. Elyzabeth Milles was baptised on 28 December 1640 in Coldwaltham.

4. Mary Mills was baptised on 25 March 1643 in Coldwaltham.

   Mary may have married William Mills on 29 October 1666 in Coldwaltham.  She was then of Coldwaltham and he was of Herigham alias Hardham, Sussex.

   William and Mary had the following children:

   1. Ann Mills was baptised on 15 October 1668 in Hardham.  She may have married Thomas Cheesman on 5 May 1691 in Coldwaltham.

   2. Henry Mills was baptised on 2 June 1671 in Hardham and buried there on 21 October 1673.

   3. John Mills was baptised on 20 November 1673 in Hardham.  He married Anne before or about 1712.  They had the following children:

      1. John Mills was baptised on 17 December 1712 in Hardham.  Might he have married Sarah Woods on 18 March 1733/4 in Wiggonholt, Sussex?

      2. Anne Mills was baptised on 8 August 1715 in Hardham.

      3. Mary Mills was baptised on 29 August 1717 in Hardham.

      4. Joseph Mills was baptised on 29 October 1719 in Hardham and buried there on 18 September 1720.

      5. Richard Mills was baptised on 29 October 1719 in Hardham and buried there on 18 September 1720.

      6. Elizabeth Mills was baptised on 13 January 1720 in Hardham.

      7. Martha Mills was baptised on 13 January 1720 in Hardham.

   4. William Mills was baptised on 22 September 1675 in Hardham.

   5. Mary Mills was baptised on 15 July 1679 in Hardham.

   6. Elizabeth Mill was baptised on 25 March 1681 in Hardham.

5. Thomas Mills was baptised on 25 October 1645 in Coldwaltham.

   Thomas may have married Mary Goring on 18 June 1674 in Coldwaltham.

   Thomas and Mary had the following children:

   1. Thomas Mills was baptised on 15 December 1675 in Coldwaltham and buried there on 19 December 1675.

   2. Thomas Mills was baptised on 2 April 1681 in Coldwaltham.

   3. John Mills was baptised on 28 December 1683 in Coldwaltham and buried there on 13 April 1687.

   4. Henry Mills was baptised on 26 February 1685 in Coldwaltham and buried there on 1 January 1686.

   5. Thomas Mills was baptised on 20 March 1687 in Coldwaltham.

   6. William Mills was baptised on 13 September 1692 in Coldwaltham.

6. Katherine Mills was baptised on 25 March 1648 in Coldwaltham.  She may have married John Mills on 24 September 1676 in Coldwaltham.  (See notes below.)

7. John Mills was baptised on 15 October 1650 in Coldwaltham.  He may have married Katherine Mills on 24 September 1676 in Coldwaltham.  (See notes below.)

8. Margaret Mills was baptised on 24 April 1653 in Coldwaltham.

9. Jane Mills was baptised on 25 April 1654 in Coldwaltham.  She may have married Richard Dedman on 22 September 1670 in Coldwaltham.  But she did have a cousin Jane Mills who was born in 1643.

10. Richard Mills, may have been my 7x Great Grandfather.  He was baptised on 5 May 1656 in Coldwaltham.  He may have married Elizabeth sometime before or about 1683.  (They have their own page.)

A John Mills married Katherine Mills on 24 September 1676 in Coldwaltham.    They had the following children:

1. Henry Mills was baptised on 21 January 1677 in Coldwaltham.

2. John Mills was baptised on 16 March 1680 in Coldwaltham and buried there on 24 March 1680.
