Moses MASTERS (c1735-?)

and Mary (c1740-?)

Moses Masters and Mary married about or before 1760.

Moses Masters date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

Mary's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

Moses Masters and Mary had 10 known children:

  1. Mary Masters was baptised on 5 July 1761 in Kenardington, Kent.  She probably died as an infant.

  2. Thomas Masters was baptised on 16 January 1762 in Ebony, Kent.  Did he marry Sarah White on 14 April 1785 in Icklesham, Sussex?  Thomas was then said to be of Fairfield in Kent.  Thomas and Sarah did name a son Moses.  Thomas and Sarah were also acknowledged as belonging to the parish of Wadhurst.

  3. Ann Masters was baptised on 20 January 1765 in Ebony.

  4. Mary Masters was baptised on 21 September 1766 in Ebony.

  5. Sarah Masters was baptised on 10 July 1768 in Ebony.

  6. Stephen Masters was baptised on 27 October 1771 in Iden.

  7. Mercy Masters was baptised on 27 June 1773 in Iden.

  8. Hannah Masters was baptised on 23 February 1775 in Iden.

  9. Martha Masters was baptised on 18 August 1776 in Iden.

  10. William Masters was baptised on 28 January 1779 in Iden.

Could the following be connected in anyway:

Mary Masters, widow of Wareham, Kent, married John Hiam of Kenardington, Kent by banns on 30 June 1741 in Rye.  (I am wondering if Mary may have been the mother of Moses?)
