William MANSBRIDGE (1662-1712)

and Mary OWENS (1662-?)

 

William Mansbridge and Mary Owens were my 7x Great Grandparents.  (Click here to see their place in my pedigree chart.)  They married on 5 November 1682 in West Itchenor, Sussex.

William Mansbridge was baptised on 30 September 1662 in Earnley, Sussex.  He was the son of William Mansbridge (1633-1667) and Jane.  He died in 1712.

Mary Owens was baptised on 28 October 1662 in West Wittering, Sussex.  She was the daughter of Thomas Owens (1623-1662) and Mary Kilsey (1627-1662).  Her parents both died in December 1662.

 

William Mansbridge and Mary Owens had 3 known children:

  1. Henry Mansbridge was baptised on 20 January 1693/4 in West Wittering.  He died in 1772.

    Henry married his cousin Elizabeth Perryn on 20 June 1719 in West Wittering.

    Elizabeth was baptised on 14 March 1695/6 in West Wittering, and was the daughter of James Perrin and Elizabeth Owen (1659-?).

    Henry and Elizabeth had 8 known children:

    5. Mary Mansbridge

  2. John Mansbridge, my 6x Great Grandfather, was baptised on 3 April 1698 in West Wittering.  He married Mary Ede in 1724.  (They have their own page.)

  3. Elizabeth Mansbridge was born and died in 1699.
