My Mansbridge Ancestors
Under my own steam I had traced my Mansbridge ancestors back to
John
Mansbridge who married
Ann Newman in 1756 in Shipley, Sussex.
But there I was stuck, as I couldn't decide if John was the son of
John
Mansbridge and
Mary Ede, or the son of
Roger Mansbridge
and Mary Phillerry.
However, I was contacted by Kathleen Mansbridge who has done extensive
research into the Mansbridge families, and she has taken my Mansbridge
ancestry back several generations. Kathleen tells me that John and
Mary were the parents of my John and not Roger and Mary.
