This is the last
Will & Testament of Richard Lintott the elder
of Horsham in the County of Sussex Vintner Imprimis I make void all former
Wills by me heretofore made First I give & bequeath unto Richard Lintott
my Son the sum of Ten Shillings & no more to be paid within three months
after my Decease by my Executrix hereafter named Item I give & bequeath unto
my Daughter Mary who is Wife to William Greenfield of Horsham
aforesaid .....& her heirs & Assigns all my household goods & Chattells
whatsoever which I shall die possessed of after the Sum of Tenn shillings is
paid to the said Richard Lintott my Son as aforesaid Item I nominate
constitute & ordain & appoint my Son in Law William Greenfield
aforesaid sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament In Witness whereof
I the said Richard Lintott the Testator have to this my last will &
testament contained in one sheet of paper sett my hand & Seal this second
day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred & Sixteen

Richard Lintott
was baptised on 24 April 1656 in Horsham. He was the son of John
Lintott and Jane.
From the Sussex
marriage index:
11 September 1681,
Richard Lintott and Mary Rogers, married in Horsham.
They were both then of Horsham.
15 May 1703,
Richard Lintott, bachelor and gent of Horsham, and Sarah Norton,
spinster of Hurstpierpoint (or Rusper), married in Slaugham.
26 April 1704,
Richard Lintott and Leah Jup, married in Horsham.
Richard and Mary
had the following children:

Lintott was baptised on 22 November 1682 in Horsham.

Jane Lintott
was baptised in March 1684 in Horsham.

Mary Lintot
was baptised on 30 September 1690 in Horsham. She married William
Greenfield on 16 January 1714/5 in Horsham.
