was a 75 year old widow and lodge keeper living at Chestham Lodge in
Henfield. At that time she had a lodger, 78 year old widow and
fellow lodge keeper, Mary Mitchell. In 1871 she was an 85
year old widow of no occupation, lodging in the home of 87 year old widow
Mary Mitchell in Martin's Row, Henfield. (As Mary Goddard
she may have married James Mitchell on 9 October 1803 in Upper
Beeding.)
In 1851, 62 year old Richard and 65 year old Ann were living alone at
Kings Cottage in Shermanbury and he was then a pauper/agricultural
labourer.

Richard Knight on 2 September 1810 in Henfield.
Richard was baptised on 8 July 1787 in Shermanbury, Sussex and was the son
of
John Knight (1754-?) and
Ann Gearing (?-?). He probably died between 1851 and 1861.

Kezia married Joseph Nottingham on 19 July 1827 in Broadwater.
They were both then of Broadwater.
When the 1851 census was recorded 59 year old widow, Kezia Nottingham
was a cook and living with her daughter Mary and son-in-law at 43 Ship
Street in Brighton.

Mary married James Piper on 19 December 1848 at St. Nicholas in
Brighton. Their fathers were named as John Piper and
Joseph Nottingham.
James was baptised on 6 March 1825 in Hellingly, Sussex and was the son of
John Piper and Caroline Crowhurst. He was a 24 year
old beer retailer in 1851.

Harry Lelliott was baptised on 7 April 1793 in Henfield.
When the 1851 census was recorded he may have been 58 year old Henry
Lelliott who gave his place of birth as Henfield, living at 9 Warwick
Buildings in Broadwater along with his 56 year old wife, Susannah
who had been born in Chelsea, Middlesex. Henry was then a tea
dealer.
Henry Lelloit married Susannah Barber on 27 January 1821 in
London (IGI).

John Lelliott was baptised on 21 February 1796 in Henfield.
In 1851 he may have been the 57 year old John Leliott, born in
Henfield, lodging in the home of Henry Sayers at Britons Farm
in West Grinstead. John was then an agricultural labourer.
