Henry LELLIOT (1698-1774)

and Mary PAVEY (?-?)

and Elizabeth GODLEY (?-1784)

 

Henry Lelliot married twice, firstly to Mary Pavey on 1 October 1723 and then to Elizabeth Godley on 10 November 1734, each time in Shermanbury, Sussex.  (They were not my direct ancestors.  Henry was the brother of my 6x Great Grandfather, Thomas Lillyot.)

Henry Lelliot was baptised on 2 December 1698 in Shermanbury.  He was the son of William Lilliot (c1660-1736) and Mary Copper (?-1748).  He was buried in Shermanbury on 13 February 1773/4, by the name of Henry Lilliott.

Mary Pavey's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

Elizabeth Godley's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.  Elizabeth Lilliott, widow was buried in Shermanbury on 10 March 1783/4.

 

Henry Lelliot and Mary Pavey had 1 known child:

  1. Mary Lilliot was baptised on 22 October 1727 in Shermanbury, the daughter of Henry and Mary.

 

Henry Lelliot and Elizabeth Godley had 3 known children:

  1. Henry Lilliot was baptised on 18 December 1735 in Shermanbury.  He married Mary Curtis in 1762.  (They have their own page.)

  2. Peter Lilliot was baptised on 18 June 1738 in Shermanbury.

  3. Richard Lilliot was baptised on 22 April 1745 in Shermanbury.  He married Ann Penfold in 1777.  (They have their own page.)
