may have been born about 1539 and possibly in East Grinstead, Sussex. He
was the son of Edward
Langrege (c1499-1558) and Sybell.
Edward Langrige yeoman of East Grinstead left a will dated
13 June 1590 and proved on 14 July 1590 in Lewes.
was buried on 4 October 1591 in East Grinstead and it was noted in the
burial register that she was the widow of Edward Langrige.

She may have married Thomas Crier on 28 July 1588 in East Grinstead.
Langridge was baptised on 16 April 1564 in East Grinstead. He
may have been
buried on 29 December 1612 in East Grinstead. A William
Langridge left a will dated 27 December 1612 and proved at
Lewes on 4 April 1613.
William married Agnes Fraunssys on 12 April 1599 in

baptism register. He may have been buried on 7 January 1614/5 in
East Grinstead. An Edward Langridge wheelwright
of East Grinstead left a will dated 28 December 1614 and proved on 20
May 1615 at Lewes.

on 2 February 1620 in East Grinstead.

Agnes Langrige was baptised on 27 April 1572 in East

in East Grinstead? Their marriage licence was issued on 2 February
1593/4 by the Archdeaconry of Lewes, which noted that Judith
Langredge was a spinster of East Grinstead and John
Awoorde of Falmer.
Rose Langrige may have been part of this family.
She was baptised on 24 March 1576/7 in East Grinstead, but neither of
her parents were named in the baptism register. As Rose
Langridge she may have married Henry Townesende
on 2 February 1602/3 in Rottingdean, Sussex.
