John Kitchenham's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
He was a glover of Wadhurst. John was buried on 18 June 1718 in
Mary Beall's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me, but
at the earliest 1672 and the latest about 1694 - see below for details of 4
possible baptisms. She may have been buried on 21 April 1750 in
Wadhurst, but the burial register just records that Mary Kitchenham,
widow, was buried.

Group's marriage index records that William Beale married
Elizabeth Funnell by banns on 3 November 1691. Could Mary and
Elizabeth be one and the same?
The 1711 marriage of Mary Beall to John Kitchenham would
seem to be the only Mary Beall marriage in the Wadhurst area at
that time. A Mary Beale married Richard Stevens on 28
June 1699 in Bodiam, Sussex, but she was said to be of Peasmarsh, Sussex.
Another Mary Beale married John West on 21 December 1704 in
Brede, Sussex and she was of Salehurst, Sussex. And yet another
Mary Beal married David Kennard on 30 November 1709 in East
