John KITCHENHAM
(1660-1714)
and Mary BAKER (c1660-?)
and Susan TOOPENNY (c1665-?)

John Kitchenham and Mary Baker were my 9x Great Grandparents.
(Click
here to see their place in my pedigree chart.)
They married on 23 January 1680/1 at the parish church of St. Peter and St.
Paul in Wadhurst, Sussex. John then married Susan Toopenny
on 14 June 1688 in Wadhurst.
John Kitchenham was baptised on 26 September 1660 in Wadhurst.
He was the son of
William Kitchenham
(1627-1677) and
Ann Seares
(c1630-1689). He was a glover. John was buried on 18 August 1714
in Bearstead, Kent, and it was recorded in the burial register that he was
John Kitchingham of Wadhurst. John was mentioned in the 1682 will
of his uncle John Kichenham a cornfactor of Maidstone.
Mary Baker’s
date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me (see
below). She may have died
in about 1687/8.
Susan Toopenny's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
Might her father have been Thomas Toopany who as an old man was
buried on 25 December 1691 in Wadhurst?

Baker had 4 known children:
