John JUPP
(c1640-?)
and Mary (c1640-?)

John Jupp
and Mary
married sometime before or about
1662. Their 8 known children were baptised in Itchingfield, Sussex.
John Jupp's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
Might he have had a brother or was his father named Emery Juppe who
sometime between 1637 and 1663 was said to have been a 40 year old
husbandman, who had lived all his life and was born in Itchingfield?
In 1641, Emery and Edward Jupp were executors of the will of
Robert Jupp of Itchingfield.
Mary's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
John Jupp and Mary had 8
known children:
-
Mary Jupp was baptised on 25 October 1663 in Itchingfield.
Both her parents were named in the baptism register. Did she marry
Henry
Woollvin in November 1686 in Shipley? Or might she have
married James Potter on 26 January 1691/2 in Warnham, Sussex?
-
Sarah Juppe was baptised on 14 February 1666/7 in Itchingfield.
Both her parents were named in the baptism register.
Sarah may have married John Knight on 23 June 1692 in Itchingfield.
They were both then of Itchingfield.
-
John Jup was baptised on 5 February 1670/1 in Itchingfield and
buried there on 8 February 1670/1. Both his parents were named in
the baptism register, the burial register only recorded that he was a
child.
-
Elizabeth Juppe was baptised on 26 February 1671/2 in Itchingfield.
Both her parents were named in the baptism register. Might she have
been buried on 4 December 1689 in Shipley? Or did she marry
Thomas Holland on 8 April 1688 in Rudgwick? They were both then
said to be of Itchingfield.
-
John Jupp was baptised on 22 March 1673/4 in Itchingfield and
buried there on 29 March 1673/4. Only his father's name was recorded
in the baptism and burial register.
-
Ann Jupp was baptised on 22 March 1673/4 in Itchingfield and buried
there on 25 March 1673/4. Only her father's name was recorded in the
baptism and burial register.
-
Elinor Jupp was baptised on 15 June 1675 in Itchingfield.
Both her parents were named in the baptism register. Was she buried
on 27 September 1689 in Shipley, as Eleanor Jupp? Or did she
marry
Daniel
Hayler on 23 May 1717 in Pulborough? At which time Eleanor
was of Pulborough and Daniel of Billingshurst.
-
Emery Juppe was baptised on 4 March 1678/9 in Itchingfield and
buried there on 6 June 1686. Both his parents were named in the
baptism register.
