John JONES (1680-1733)

and Elizabeth RICHARDSON (c1681-1777)

 

John Jones and Elizabeth Richardson were my 7x Great Grandparents.  (Click here to see their place in my pedigree chart.)  They married on 18 April 1700 at the parish church of St. Mary The Virgin in Salehurst, Sussex.

John Jones was baptised on 17 February 1679/80 in Salehurst.  He was the son of John Jones (1655-1695) and Mary Tyrill (1655-1705).  He died in May 1733 in Salehurst.

Elizabeth Richardson's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.  She died aged 96 years and was buried on 12 March 1777 in Salehurst.

 

John Jones and Elizabeth Richardson had 4 known children:

  1. Thomas Jones was baptised on 13 September 1702 in Salehurst.

  2. Sarah Jones was baptised on 4 March 1704/5 in Salehurst.

  3. John Jones, my 6x Great Grandfather, was baptised on 21 January 1707/8 in Salehurst.  He married Sarah Butler in 1736.  (They have their own page.)

  4. Mary Jones was baptised on 12 February 1711 in Salehurst.
