Edward ISTED (1584-?)

and Margaret AVERY (1590-?)

 

Edward Isted and Margaret Averye married on 23 August 1609 at All Saints in Hastings, Sussex.  They may have been my 10x Great Grandparents.

Edward Isted was baptised on 2 February 1584 at St. Clements in Hastings.  He was the son of Richard Isted and Anne Warnett.

Margaret Avery was baptised on 21 June 1590 in Warbleton, Sussex.  She was the daughter of Thomas Averye and Dorothy Farvice.

 

Edward Isted and Margaret Avery had 6 known children:

  1. John Isted was, according to the IGI, born in about 1602 in Hastings and married Mary Sharlande on 10 December 1621 in Warbleton.

  2. Thomas Isted was baptised on 10 September 1610 in Framfield, Sussex.  Did he marry Margaret Crouch in 1632?

  3. Richard Isted was baptised on 2 February 1612 in Framfield.

  4. Edward Isted was baptised on 9 March 1613 in Framfield.  He married Mary in about 1633.

  5. Mary or Maria Isted was baptised on 4 March 1616 in Framfield.  She married Edward Shepheard on 27 September 1636 in Hellingly.

  6. Elizabeth Isted was baptised in September 1619 in Framfield.

 

AVERY          ISTED
