John Howell and
Rose Pitman married on 31 December
1749 in Brighton, Sussex.
John Howel
may have been baptised on 30 January 1729/30 in Brighton and have been the
son of John Howel
(1700-?) and
Elizabeth Plaw (1700-?).
Rose Pitman
was baptised on 11 April 1730 in East Grinstead, Sussex. She was the
daughter of Robert Pitman and Katherine.
John Howell and Rose
Pitman had 8 known children:

John Howell
was baptised on 30 June 1751 in Brighton. He may have married
Ann Moore in
1774. (They have their own page.)

Rose Howel was baptised on 6 May 1753 in Brighton.
Rose
married Thomas Webb by licence on 8 July 1778 in Brighton. He
was then a bachelor and she a spinster and they were both of Brighton.

Elizabeth Howel was baptised on 10 August 1755 in Brighton.
Elizabeth married Barak Wingham on 30 April 1782 in
Brighton. They were both then of Brighton and both single.
Barak and Elizabeth had the following daughter:

Elizabeth Wingham married William Pilbeam
by banns on 23 December 1810 in Brighton. He was a bachelor and
she a spinster and they were both of Brighton.

Pilbeam married Wren.

Wren married Sturges

Robert Howel was baptised on 15 January 1758 in Brighton and buried
there on 9 November 1760.

Johanna Howel was baptised on 16 March 1766 in Brighton.

Mary Howel was baptised on 15 June 1763 in Brighton.

Katherine Howel was baptised on 12 May 1766 in Brighton.

Robert Howel was baptised on 20 May 1769 in Brighton and buried
there on 8 November 1769.
