1725 in Henfield, Sussex. (They were not my direct ancestors).
John
Older's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
Might he have been baptised on 31 May 1692 in Keymer, Sussex, the son of
John Holder and Mary.
Anne Avery's
date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me. She may have been
baptised on 17 April 1698 in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex and have been the
daughter of Thomas Avery and Eden Books.
John Older and Anne Avery
had 5 known children:

John Holder was baptised on 19 March 1725/6 in Woodmancote.
His parents were named as John and Anne.

Richard Holder
was baptised on 22 November 1730 in Woodmancote. His father was then
named as Goodman Holder a journeyman shoemaker at Blackstone
Street. Richard married
Elizabeth Langley
in 1752. (They have their own page.)

Anne Older was baptised on 12 March 1731/2 in Woodmancote.
Her father was also named as Goodman Older a journeyman shoemaker
in Blackstone Street.

Thomas Older was baptised on 12 May 1733 in Woodmancote. His
father was John Older a journeyman shoemaker in Blackstone Street.

Susanna Older was baptised on 7 May 1738 in Henfield.

Blackstone
The Woodmancote registers also record that Thomas Boniface was a
shoemaker at Blackstone in 1732 and 1733. In 1729 and 1736 he was also
named as Goodman Boniface a shoemaker at Blackstone. John
Boniface was a shoemaker in Blackstone by 1741. Thomas Boniface
may have first married Jane Butcher on 1 July 1725 in Keymer at which
time he was of Albourne, and then to Sarah Cosens on 7 November 1733
in Woodmancote.
In 1738 the shopkeeper at Blackstone was ? Stone.
Other Blackstone residents were: 1728 Thomas Dennet; 1731 the
families of Shadrack Whiting, William Blaber and Goodman
Carter; 1733 the family of John Dennet (also there in 1734, 1735
and 1738); 1734 John Boniface; 1735 Goodman Knight; 1742
Goodman Homan; 1744 Goodman Geer (also in 1745); and 1745
Peter Hill.
The Rector of Woodmancote, James Barker, had a negro servant,
Bartholomew, baptised in 1732.
My own connection with the parish of Woodmancote at this time was with the
family of

Bridget
Purvey who had married in Woodmancote in 1733.

death", on 25 September 1720 in Woodmancote. He was a twin.
William Older married Mary Taylor on 8 September 1743 in
Woodmancote.

Her father was named as William and he was of Blackstone. She
