My Heath Ancestors

A 6x Great Grandmother was Mary Heath who married Joseph Henry (1715-1785) in 1740 in Sutton, Sussex. They were the parents of my 5x Great Grandmother Hannah Henry.

Mary was baptised in Sutton in 1721 and was the daughter of William Heath and Elizabeth Piper, who had married in Sutton in 1720, when he was a widower and she a widow. William may have previously married Mary sometime before or about 1700/1, and Elizabeth married Richard Head in 1702.

William may have been baptised in 1678 in Midhurst, Sussex and have been the son of Thomas Heath and Elizabeth. However, there was a William Heath who married in 1703 and 1706 in Rogate, and was buried there in 1726.
