Edward HAYLOR (1675-?)

and Susannah (?-?)

Edward Haylor and Susannah may have married sometime before or about 1709.  An Edward Hayler and Sarah Farley married on 18 May 1699 in Thakeham, Sussex.  Might Susannah and Sarah have been one and the same?  Or did Edward marry twice?

Edward Haylor was baptised on 25 February 1675/6 in Billingshurst, Sussex.  He was the son of Edward Hayler (1664-?).  He may have been buried on 15 March 1711/2 or 7 April 1720 in Billingshurst.  The burial register on both occasions described Edward as a labourer.

Susannah's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

Sarah Farly was baptised on 17 March 1675/6 in Thakeham.  She was the daughter of Thomas Farley and Sarah Langburd who had married on 18 September 1673 in Thakeham.

Edward Haylor and Susannah had 1 known child:

  1. Jane Haylor was baptised on 4 September 1709 in Billingshurst.  She may have been buried in June 1712 in Billingshurst, as an infant.
