and Barbara DENNETT (1696-?)

 

William Harman and Barbara Dennett married on 18 November 1722 in Brighton, Sussex.

William Harman may have been born 1698 in Brighton, the son of John Harman and Sarah Roberts.

Barbara Dennett was baptised on 18 October 1696 in Brighton.  She was the daughter of Thomas Dennet and Jane Wood.

 

William Harman and Barbara Dennett had 8 known children:

  1. Thomas Harman was baptised on 13 October 1723 at St. Nicholas, Brighton.

  2. Ann Harman

  3. William Harman was baptised on 10 September 1727 at St. Nicholas, Brighton.

    William married Elizabeth Idle on 10 November 1747 in Brighton.

    Elizabeth was baptised on 4 October 1728 at the Union Street Chapel, Ship Street, Brighton and was the daughter of Jacob Idle and Joane.

    William and Elizabeth had the following children:

    Barbara married Thomas Belton on 26 June 1753 in Brighton.

    Thomas was baptised on 1727 in Rottingdean, Sussex and was the son of Nathaniel Belton.

    Thomas and Barbara had the following children:

    4. Richard Belton

    5. Sarah Belton

  5. Joan Harman was baptised on 12 January 1730 at St. Nicholas, Brighton.

  6. Simon Harman was baptised on 29 April 1733 at St. Nicholas, Brighton.  He married Elizabeth Gunn in 1755.  (They have their own page.

  7. Mary Harman was baptised on 15 December 1735 at St. Nicholas, Brighton.

  8. John Harman was baptised on 6 June 1737 at St. Nicholas, Brighton.
