William GUMBRIL (1726-1793)

and Hannah WILNER (?-1792)

William Gumbril and Hannah Wilner married on 17 October 1754 in Billingshurst, Sussex.  The witnesses to their marriage were Samuel Steer and George Gumbril.  (They were not my direct ancestors.)

William Gumbril was baptised on 27 January 1725/6 in Billingshurst.  He was the son of Daniel Gumbril (?-1743) and Mary Nightingale (?-1742).  He may have been buried on 15 December 1793 in Billingshurst, as William Gumbrill, but unfortunately no other details were given in the burial register.

Hannah Wilner's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.  She may have been buried on 23 March 1792 in Billingshurst, as Hannah Gumbrell.
