A removal order was issued by the overseers of Broadwater parish on 16
November 1826, returning William, his wife Jane and their 7 month old
daughter to Heene (or vice versa).
When the 1841 census was recorded the family were living in Heene and
William was a brewer. In 1851 William was a foreman and the family
were still living in Heene. Jane was then 49 years old and gave her
place of birth as Broadwater.

Mary Ann Guile was born about 1825 in Broadwater. In 1841 she
was a 15 year old servant in the home of Henry Methold at Marine
Parade in Worthing. When the 1851 census was recorded she was
visiting her parents and she was then Mary Ann Arnold a 26 year old
married woman.

Jane Elizabeth Guile was baptised on 23 April 1826 Broadwater, at which time
her father was a labourer. She was 15 years old when the 1841 census
was recorded.
Jane married Richard Sawyer on 15 April 1850 at the parish church
of St. Mary's in Broadwater. Richard and Jane had 5 children.

Henry Guile was born on 22 March 1828 and baptised on 15 June 1828
in Broadwater, at which time his father was a labourer. In 1841 he
was 13 years old. He was an unmarried 22 year old sailor in 1851 and
living with his parents.
Henry married Alice Gibson on 10
October 1854.

William Giles was baptised on 1 August 1830 in Heene, at which time
his father was a labourer. He was 10 years old in 1841.
William married Fanny Newman on 30 July 1855 at St. Mary's in
Broadwater.
William and Fanny had the following child:

in Broadwater.

George Giles was baptised on 30 December 1832 in Heene, at which
time his father was a labourer. In 1841 he was 8 years old. He
was an 18 year old labourer in 1851.
As George Guiel he married Charlotte Ann Short on 19 January
1860 in Broadwater.
George and Charlotte had 5 children:

Harriet Giles was baptised on 12 August 1834 in Heene, at which
time her father was a labourer. She was 6 years old in 1841.
In 1851 she was a 17 year old under nurse, in the same household as her
future sister-in-law, Alice Gibson.

James Giles was baptised on 19 March 1837 in Heene, at which time
his father was a labourer. He was 4 years old in 1841. In 1851
he was a 14 year old labourer.

Emma Guiel was baptised on 28 April 1839 in Heene, at which time
her father was a labourer. At the time of the 1841 census she was 2
years old. In 1851 she was a 12 year old scholar.

Richard Ambrose Guiel was baptised on 17 April 1842 in Heene, at
which time his father was a labourer.
Richard married Ellen Maria Harris in the first quarter of 1870 in
the East Preston registration district. Richard and Ellen had 5
children.

Sarah Ellen Guiel was baptised on 27 July 1844 in Heene, at which
time her father was a labourer.

Ellen Frances Guiel was baptised on 4 April 1847 in Heene, at which
time her father was a labourer. In 1851 she was a 4 year old
scholar.
Ellen married William Bright Marner on 28 July 1867 in Broadwater.
William and Ellen had 3 children.
