Daniel Greenfield was baptised on 7 May 1707 in Rudgwick, and was the son of Daniel Greenfield.

Daniel Greenfield was baptised on 28 April 1709 in Wisborough Green, and was the son of Thomas Greenfield.

Daniel Greenfield was baptised on 21 October 1711 in Nuthurst, and was the son of Samuel Greenfield and Mary.

Luke Greenfield and Deborah Wood married on 21 June 1721 at St. Benet & St. Peter Paul's in London.  He was a bachelor of Billingshurst, Sussex and she a spinster of Eynsford, Kent.

Luke Greenfield and Leah Ireland married by licence on 10 June 1783 in West Chiltington.  He was a minor and married with the consent of Maurice Greenfield.  She was a spinster of Billingshurst.  The witnesses to their marriage were Maurice Greenfield, junior and Edward Sayers.

Luke Greenfield and Hannah Bristow married on 28 August 1787 in Billingshurst.  He was a widower and she a widow and they were both of Billingshurst.  The witnesses to their marriage were Robert Parsons and Foice Champion.

Luke Greenfield and Sarah Greenfield married by licence on 12 July 1804 in Billingshurst.  He was a widower and they were both of Billingshurst.  The witnesses to their marriage were Henry Smart and James Carter.  Their marriage licence was issued on 11 July 1804 by the Archedeaconry of Chichester which noted that he was a widower and farmer of West Chiltington, aged 40 years and upwards.  She was a widow of Billingshurst also aged 40 years and upwards.  Surety for their licence was provided by Luke himself and James Sturt an innkeeper of Horsham.

Luke Greenfield and Ann Borer married by licence on 26 May 1810 in West Chiltington.  He was a bachelor and she a spinster and they were both of West Chiltington.  The witnesses to their marriage were Elizabeth Greenfield and John Streater.  Their marriage licence was issued on 24 May 1810 by the Archdeaconry of Chichester, which noted that he was a bachelor and farmer of West Chiltington aged 24 years and upwards.  Ann was a spinster of the same place and also aged 24 years and upwards.  Surety for the licence was provided by Luke himself and William Robinson an innkeeper of Horsham.

Luke Greenfield and Ann Court married on 18 June 1838 in Findon.  He was a bachelor and labourer and she a spinster.  They were both of Findon.  The witnesses to their marriage were Donald Greenfield and Esther Hayler.

1795 will of James Greenfield of Pulborough

In the name of God Amen I James Greenfield of Pulborough in the County of Sussex Yeoman being in good health and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding thanks be to God do make and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) After recommending my soul unto Almighty God my most merciful Creator and my Body to this Earth to be devoutly buried I dispose of my worldly Estate as follows Viz First I give and bequeath unto my wife Jane the sum of one hundred and ten pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to her within one month next after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto my said wife Jane All and singular my household goods plate linen and furniture whatsoever for her own absolute use and benefit Also I give and bequeath unto my said wife Jane the Messuage or Tenement Buildings and Premises situate at or near Pots Street in Pulborough afore-said which I lately purchased of Edward Pledge to hold unto my said wife and her assigns for and during so many years of the term thereof granted as she shall live And from and after her decease I give and bequeath all the said Messuages or tenements buildings ______________ and premises with the appurtenances unto my brother Edmund Greenfield and my brother-in-law Luke Clement of Pulborough aforesaid Yeoman their executors and administrators equally between them the said Edmund Greenfield and Luke Clement without benefit of survivorship Also I give and bequeath unto the said Edmund Greenfield and Luke Clement the sum of five hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain In trust to share the same out on Government of land security and to pay the interest thereof unto my said wife Jane during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease to divide the said sum of five hundred pounds equally between them the said Edmund Greenfield and Luke Clement their executors of administrators without any benefit of survivorship and all the rest residue and remainder of my goods chattels and stock on my farm and other personal estate whatsoever I give and bequeath unto the said Edmund Greenfield and Luke Clement equally between them share and share alike but it is my will and meaning and I do hereby  expressly direct that my said brother Edmund Greenfield shall have the lease of the farm to carry on the business for his own use and benefit and all the Dressing whether in or out of the Ground without paying the said Luke Clement anything for the same but that the stock of Corn whether on the ground or severed and the stock of  ____________________ and other farming stock shall be appraised and one half of the value or amount thereof paid by my said brother Edmund Greenfield  unto my said brother-in-law Luke Clement And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said brother Edmund Greenfield and the said Luke Clement executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made In witness thereof I have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal this second day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety one James Greenfield Signed sealed published and declared by the said James Greenfield the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have here and to subscribed our names as witnesses James ____ Blunt jun. This will was proved before William Thomas ___________ Clerk surrogate ________________ on the thirteenth day of February in the year of our Lord 1795 by the oaths of Edmund Greenfield natural and lawful brother and Luke Clement brother-in-law of the deceased and executors therein named to whom _____________ well and truly ________________ sworn saving
