John Godsmark died on 5 September and was buried on 5/6 September
1611 in Ashurst. His will was dated 4 September 1611. John
married Alice Parson on 12 December 1583 in Ashurst. She
was buried on 17 September 1618 in Ashurst. John and Alice had the
following known children:
Mary Godsmark was born in 1583 in Ashurst. She died in 1648
in Steyning, Sussex. Mary married Thomas Blaker in 1618 in

John Godsmark was born in 1592 in Ashurst and buried there in

Michael Godsmark was born in 1601 in Ashurst. Michael may
have married Mary Brytt in 1619 at St. Martins in Chichester,
Richard Godsmark was born in 1605 in Ashurst. He was buried
there on 21 October 1663. Richard married Dorothy Godsmark
on 23 July 1627 at St. Peter the Great in Chichester. Dorothy was
the daughter of Nicholas Godsmark and Elizabeth.
An infant was buried on 4 July 1566 in Ashurst.
Godsmark, my possible 11x Great Grandfather, married
